But wait, there’s a lot more than just amazing golf in Ocean City!
OC Convention Center Ocean City offers an array of activities and sights to enjoy when you’re not on the golf course. The city plays a great host, planning family events throughout the summer.
The Ocean City Boardwalk is a place to enjoy a family bike ride, a relaxing walk, or see the sights from the tram ride. And when the sun goes down… the Boardwalk heats up! It hosts a great night life with performers, rides, arcades and more. There is plenty of Outlet shopping to be done in Ocean City and Rehoboth Beach. Antique

Fish or Crab on a pier for free. Ocean City is known for its world-class fishing. If you’re feeling daring, take a deep sea fishing excursion, or stay close to shore on a bayside party or head boat.
If your interests lean more toward the historical or cultural there are a number of local museums. In Salisbury you can visit the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art and the Pewter Factory. Berlin is home to the Calvin B. Taylor House, or you can step back in time in Snow Hill at Furnace Town Living Heritage Museum and the Life-Saving Station Museum can be found at the Ocean City Inlet.
Nature lovers will also enjoy the area. Assateague Island is a National Park and home of the wild ponies made famous in the children’s book Misty of Chincoteague. Assateague Island is also home to a wide variety of bird life and a small population of Sika deer.

Furnace Town
The Old Furnace Town Heritage Museum is an outdoor museum that uses a living history format with live demonstrations to re-create a vanished 19th century community. The museum contains various historic buildings, including most importantly the Nassawango Iron Furnace, an early 19th-century brick blast furnace that was used to smelt bog iron ore to make pig iron. Other buildings, all of which have been moved to the site, include a church, a store, and several houses.
