As the only Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed golf course on the Eastern Shore, Ocean Pines is truly something special. With 18 newly restored greens, this timeless classic is sure to win you over as you make your way across treelined fairways. Be sure to schedule a round of golf on this challenging championship course on your next Ocean City Golf Vacation and as Robert Trent Jones, Sr. said, “Experience golf as it was meant to be played.”
Designed by Robert Trent Jones
Ocean Pines is nestled amid natural wetlands and scenic woodlands. This course dares players at all levels, ages and abilities to test their skills on this course, which cuts through the native pines leaving a fair but demanding course for all golfers!
This championship course is located just across the Assawoman Bay and is only 9 miles outside of all that Ocean City has to offer.
The clubhouse boasts a full service golf shop, top-notch locker room facilities and ample banquet space. Practice your swing on their double-ended grass driving range with sheltered hitting stalls. Perfect your short game on their practice chipping and pitching greens, two putting greens and practice bunkers. Top off your day with a bite and beverage in the remodeled Tern Grille.
*Ocean Pines is building a new Clubhouse and is scheduled to open in 2020.
Pam’s Playing Tip
Ocean Pines is a very deceiving golf course because the putts are straighter than they appear. You will also fare better by hitting it short rather than long on this course.
Pam’s Ocean Pines Packaging Tip
Ocean Pines offers fantastic package rates and is a great course to include to keep the package price low. This course is also a perfect choice for a Saturday morning tee time.
