Ocean City has become a great place to spend a golf vacation. But if you have no interest in golf there are many other ways to pass your time in the area. There is plenty of Outlet shopping to be done in both Ocean City and Rehoboth Beach. Antique shops also dot the map from Berlin to Rehoboth. If your interests lean more toward the historical or cultural there are a number of local museums. In Salisbury you can visit the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art and the Pewter Factory. Berlin is home to the Calvin B. Taylor House, you can step back in time in Snow Hill at Furnace Town Living Heritage Museum and the Life-Saving Station Museum can be found at the Ocean City Inlet.

Nature lovers will also enjoy the area. Assateague Island is a National Park and home of the wild ponies made famous in the children’s book Misty of Chincoteague. Assateague Island is also home to a wide variety of bird life and a small population of Sika deer.
