Berlin is home to the Calvin B. Taylor House, or you can step back in time in Snow Hill at Furnace Town Living Heritage Museum and the Life-Saving Station Museum can be found at the Ocean City Inlet.
Nature lovers will also enjoy the area. Assateague Island is a National Park and home of the wild ponies made famous in the children's book Misty of Chincoteague. Assateague Island is also home to a wide variety of bird life and a small population of Sika deer.
